News
September 2018 – Hunter Water & Downer has engaged Burke to undertake the installation of pipeline for the trenched sections of the The 8km long section of the CTGM from Duckenfield to Tarro was constructed in 1923 of DN900 lead-jointed locking bar pipe, and is one of only three remaining above ground sections of this type that remain in use on the CTGM.
September 2017 – Burke Pipe and Civil commenced works for Water NSW on repairing a collapse on the canal wall at Macquariedale Road, Appin back to its original heritage standard.
These works consisted of removal of the collapsed canal wall ,extraction of debris from canal and the removal of wall head on either side of fall in process to tie the wall in. Earthworks were also carried out on the roadway and behind the wall to a suitable foundation. Wall was reinforced and rebuilt to heritage standards as it is on the state heritage listing.
09/02/2016 – Burke Pipe and Civil have commenced works on the Emerald Hills Wastewater servicing Bore Pits and Sewer Main. These works consist of deep excavation Bore Launch and Receiver Pits and approx. 1.2km of gravity and sewer main.
04/05/2016 – Burke Pipe and Civil have been awarded sewer main and associated manhole works at High Street, Willoughby by Veolia which is part of Sydney Waters Customer Surcharge Package 6. This continues our work on the customer surcharge package projects for Veolia and Sydney Water.

Scope: Installation of 11 concrete slabs for temporary supports at mid span between sills in the section between anchor block 93-94 on pipeline 1 of Warragamba to Prospect.
